ObjectWave is a software engineering company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. ObjectWave has more than sixteen years of experience building enterprise-level object systems. We were early adopters of object-oriented (OO) technology, initially with Smalltalk (a pure OO language) and CORBA. ObjectWave adopted other object technologies like Java and C# beginning in the mid 1990’s.   It is our extensive experience with OO technology and methodologies that differentiates ObjectWave from most other software consultants.  Object Technology in the enterprise is our sole focus.

  ObjectWave's software engineering consultants range from architects, designers and team leaders, to developers. All of our software consultants have extensive experience using object-oriented technologies. We have a strong project focus; many of our consultants also have extensive experience mentoring OO beginners as well as experienced developers. In addition to software engineers, ObjectWave has a few seasoned executives available for management consulting initiatives.

• Our Research & Development Team

  We also have a core R&D group devoted to the development of new OO-oriented tools and frameworks such as JGrinder, Visual JGrinder, X2J, XJR, and Reliable Object Classes (ROC). We offer the use of these tools and frameworks to clients to help accelerate the software development process and improve software quality. Our R&D team can also provide training and hands-on knowledge transfer services so that your staff can continue to use these tools and frameworks on an ongoing basis for your software development and maintenance needs. We offer our toolkit to clients as an option (not a requirement), at no additional cost to you.
